Once again, if you want a shot at the latest high-end designer to produce something limited and affordable, you'll have to schedule a road trip.
The closest store offering up Lanvin's highly-anticipated H&M collection is Chicago. From the lookbook, the clothes all stamped with "Lavin (heart) H&M" might just be worth a trip for die-hards.
Designed by Lanvin's artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver the collection will go on sale in around 200 H&M stores on November 20. The rest of the world's H&M shops will start receiving the collection on Nov. 23.
I'm heading home for the holidays so I'll definitely be stopping by the local H&M on Las Vegas Boulevard, which is among those that merit the line.
Men's shawl-collared blazers will cost around $149 and women's cocktail dresses hover around $199. The line isn't what most people consider a bargain, unless you consider that a cocktail length Lanvin dress at Bergdorf Goodman will run you about $2,000.
